Tempest Group’s team possesses over 86 years’ experience in the elevator industry. The breadth of this experience includes servicing, repairing, modernizing, installing and inspecting many different types of elevators from all over the world. All our field mechanics have all been required to go through an intense apprenticeship program that has been federally recognized. That includes formal classroom studies, and on the job training necessary to gain the ability to keep any wind turbine elevator performing optimally, and safely.
Our Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) has over a 14 years experience inspecting all types of elevator equipment, including wind turbine elevators, and currently sits on the ASME A17.8 wind turbine elevator committee. We also staff skilled, wind ready, wind turbine elevator mechanics. With extensive experience working on all manufacturers of wind turbine elevators, all WTE Mechanics have extensive safety training and are qualified to specifically work inside of wind turbines.
